Creating a WordPress site always starts with choosing the right theme.
A theme is like the framework of your WordPress site. It’s not just about appearance—it defines your site’s structure and how it functions.
At my studio, I test the top WordPress themes from over 20,000 options worldwide, focusing on those that consistently rank in the official top 10.
From these, I carefully select two themes that combine speed, lightweight performance, rich features, and security, and use them for my projects.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) simply means creating a website that is easy for search engines like Google to find and understand. And when a site is easy for search engines to read, it’s also easier for users to find information and navigate the site.
Clean code, fast loading, mobile and tablet responsiveness, readable structure and content, clear design—all of these contribute to effective SEO.
I take care to implement SEO thoughtfully. Drawing on past experience—such as creating a blog information site that reached 30,000 page views per month in about seven months—I design websites that are friendly both to visitors and search engines.

Can I update the website myself?
Yes, absolutely. We build websites using WordPress, which allows you to easily update your blog (news and announcements) on your own without needing specialized knowledge.
What are a server and a custom domain? Do I need to sign up for them?
A server is where your website’s content is stored and delivered, and a domain is like your website’s address, for example, “example.com”.
Without these two, it’s impossible to create or publish a website externally, so signing up for both is necessary.
At Pen’s Studio, we ask clients to register their own server and custom domain to ensure that they retain full ownership of their website. Don’t worry—we provide guidance on how to obtain them, so even beginners can handle it easily.
■Server cost estimate: ¥8,000 – ¥13,000 per year (varies depending on the provider or campaigns)
■Domain cost estimate: ¥1,000 – ¥8,000 per year (varies depending on the provider and type of domain)
What should I prepare before having my website created?
Please prepare the following items before we start creating your website:
■Rental server
■Custom domain (support provided)
■Logo
■Text/content
■Images
Note: Free stock images can be used, but to clearly convey your brand, it’s recommended to use original photos that showcase your services and the atmosphere of your business.
How much does it cost to have a website created?
The base price is ¥160,000 (tax included) for a 5-page website. Example pages include: Home, Services, About, News, and Contact.
For startups, small businesses, and sole proprietors, these five pages usually cover most of the essential content.
For website elements that do not require complicated work, such as Google Maps integration and social media links, we can include them free of charge.
Please note that custom illustrations, complex layouts, booking systems, and payment systems are not included in our service.
I strive to handle as much as possible without additional costs, so please feel free to consult me first.
Are there any additional costs besides the basic website fee?
If you want to add extra pages beyond the basic 5 pages, it costs ¥10,000 per page.
Extending the after-support from the standard 2 weeks to 1 month costs ¥10,000 per month.
For multilingual sites, it’s ¥10,000 per additional language.
Please note that server and custom domain fees are paid by the client.
How long does it take to complete a website?
It depends on my current workload and the content of your site, but it usually takes about one month from the start of production.
Can I cancel my order after requesting it?
You can cancel your order after placing it, but please note that the deposit of ¥50,000 is non-refundable.
Also, because each website is custom-designed for the client, a lot of work is involved during the production process.
Therefore, cancellations cannot be accepted once the project reaches approximately 50% completion. Thank you for your understanding.
Is it possible to have meetings via video conference?
I’m sorry, but video meetings are not available.
To ensure accurate confirmation and proper records of all production details, all communication is conducted via email.
How do I maintain my website after it is completed?
After your website is launched, basic maintenance tasks such as updating the WordPress version and plugins on a monthly basis will be sufficient. These updates are simple and can be easily managed even by beginners.
We will also provide you with a detailed guide after the website is completed, so you can maintain your site with confidence.
